Here are those 'Notes' mentioned at the top of the page.
These shells have usually come from a warm climate and are originally from Left Hand Drive vehicles. Prior to late 1967/68 the same shell was used for both Right and Left Hand Drive. i.e. The dashboard, steering column and pedal mounts etc are the same both sides. The wiring loom, gauges etc are generally the same.. there may be subtle differences in throttle pedal mountings, heater controls and dip switches etc... but these are easy to overcome and there is no bodywork, cutting welding to be done.
Post 68 design changed for the US market cars. While the European export models continued to use the either option body shell, the US export market cars now have a peculiar shell. The bulkhead is now shaped to a safety dashboard, three wipers, side repeaters etc These also have different gauges, wiring loom, centre consoles etc The steering gear mounts beyond the column remains the same, pedal mountings are also there both sides. Suffice to say there is some work involved in converting these models to RHD. Providing you are looking to re-shell an existing project the work is very straight forward and will not tax your brain - items can be removed from your old shell to fit and adapt to RHD. If you are to convert with no old body to use as reference or to remove items from, you need to be aware of the brackets and fittings you are short of - these are now generally available - or they can be obtained from another donor car.
Now the good news, the good thing about these shells is that they have been used! They have been fitted up. The lights, windscreen, wiper boxes do not require a 'first fit' prior to painting like you would have to on a brand new shell. Yes, there is preparation work, they have been painted and they will not be perfect, but there is preparation work on a new shell at twice the money - you cannot just take either shell directly to the paintshop.
Prices usually are for a bare 'tub' - i.e. no wings, doors, bonnet or boot lid, unless other wise stated. These are usually available. Ask.
